We held off on this one because everyone and their mother has been all over this story about this hot shot NFC North QB that is retiring. Well, we finally realized we have to jump in because it would be irresponsible of us not to.
Yes, OTR finally mentions that Kelly Holcomb is retiring. That’s right, the long-time Minnesota Viking played in the Metrodome for nearly a year and is now calling it quits.
Holcomb plans on doing sideline reporting for Middle Tennessee State football radio broadcasts.
“It’s something I always wanted to do, radio and TV,” Holcomb said through an interpreter. “People ask me if I plan to coach, and I have no aspirations to do that right now. But I like looking at the game from the radio and TV angles.”
OTR has not learned the financial details of his new radio gig, so we can not determine whether he will make more or less than when he was an NFL player.

Got something to say?

Where is the link to voting for Pat Burrell? I know we all just assume the world is going to vote for him, but that may not be the case.
Burrell is All-World. An All-Star game to him is a step backwards.
