The Mets decided to finally fire manager Willie Randolph earlier this morning. Pitching coach Rick Peterson and the first-base coach Tom Nieto were also canned. There were no reports on whether or not the Mets were going to keep their second-base coach on the roster.

When you hire hot ball girls, that’s clutch. I love watching them run around after foul balls.
Bench coach Jerry Manuel will be replacing Willie as manager. OTR is working nonstop to see if he is related to Phillies manager Charlie Manual. OTR has stopped that work due to finding out it’s Charlie ‘Manuel.’ Oh wait, that is the same spelling. Back to working nonstop?
Look for the Mets to go 93-0 now that the change has been made.

Got something to say?

Of all the people on the team to blame, I would not have gone to Willie first. I think the manner in which the organization went about this was ridiculous.
Suck it, Omar! And while I’m ranting, learn to sit quietly and earn your absurd paycheck, Wagner.
I am so glad they fired that stupid pitching coach. I have no clue whether he is a good coach or not, but he looks like an absolute turd. Who wears a jacket in the middle of July? Honestly.
Lindsey kicks ass?
I’m going to kick someone’s ass! I am giving David Wright a pass (for now) but everyone else is fair game.
