Our pal G. Cobb says that Kevin Curtis has impressed him in mini camps so far.
“I think we’re going to find out that he’s an even better receiver than we thought,” Cobb says on GCobb.com. “I think the Eagles are going to do a better job of getting him into space. He’s got a burst that surprises people and allows him to get yardage after the catch at times.
“I think we’re going to see him open a gap between himself and Reggie Brown. I don’t say this because of anything wrong that Brown did during the camp but he doesn’t have the speed and quickness which you see in Curtis.”
Curtis is a nice player and isn’t the problem with the WR core. If they had a better #1 option, Curtis would be murder out of the slot.
