If you haven’t read our comments under the Keith Premeau article or heard the news, the Philadelphia Flyers will have to go to battle without their best player. All-Star defenseman Kimmo Timonen will likely miss the Eastern Conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins because of a blood clot in his left ankle.
This is not an excuse and the Philadelphia Flyers will not even think about making it one. This is the Stanley Cup Playoffs. All four hockey teams left have a roster of players that can fill in at any point and look for Jaroslav Modry or Ryan Parent to fill Timonen’s roster spot.
Hockey teams tend to rally in situations like this and I don’t expect anything less from a Flyers team that has been playing without All-Star forward Simon Gagne for most of the season. Look for Braydon Coburn to step up his game and lead this Flyers’ team on the defensive end.

Got something to say?

This sucks… I hate Pittsburg
Do we really think it matters? Pittsburg is too good this year
