Boston wins worst playoff game ever

There is absolutely no way that either of the teams that played last night in Game One of the Eastern Conference semi-finals will win the NBA championship. The game last night was pitiful, horrible, and nearly unwatchable. I’ve seen college basketball teams play better than what I saw last night.

Besides Kevin Garnett who scored 28 points (including the game-winning basket) and grabbed eight boards everyone played like absolute crap. Paul Pierce went 2 for 14, Ray Allen didn’t score any points for the first time since 1997, and the Boston starters combined for 18 turnovers. For Cleveland, Lebron went 2 for 18 with 10 turnovers, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak combined for 7 of 24 from the field, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas performed a finger roll that fell five feet short of the basket. Furthermore, the teams combined for 36% shooting.

What the heck is wrong with Ilgauskas? He is seven-foot three and plays at the three-point line on offense. What good is this doing? I don’t care what kind of numbers this guy puts up. He is a soft, lazy center that plays like a useless two guard. Cleveland has absolutely no inside-outside game. None. Ilgauskas is a waste of space and needs to be traded or cut from this team. He is doing tremendous damage to Lebron’s game. Ben Wallace is also absolute garbage.

In an already struggling and tanking sport, I highly doubt the NBA picked up any more viewers or fans with that horrendous debacle last night. Both teams and coaches should be ashamed of their performances (everyone but Kevin Garnett).

Lebron pisses me off. He takes nights off. Kobe would never play a game this bad. This is why Kobe is a better player than Lebron.

The Celtics are being exposed. Their role players are absolute garbage. In a seven game series, any of the remaining four Western Conference teams beats them. And that is if they can get by the Pistons, which at this point I don’t see happening.

I’m still trying to figure out if that was an exceptional display of defense by both teams or just pathetic offense by both teams.

Pathetic offense by both teams. The NBA has been on a serious decline since the Jordan era. Teams are scoring less because players lack the fundamentals and shooting skills players used to have. This is the main reason why the Brent Barrys of the world are still around. NBA teams need people that can shoot and there aren’t many that can. Players are more interested in dunking and making the spectacular play and have lost the fundamentals of playing great basketball.
