Shockey to Saints could still happen?

jeremyshockey.jpgThe Times-Picayune reports that league sources say that the deal that would send Giants TE Jeremy Shockey to the Saints isn’t dead yet.

Supposedly, Saints head coach Sean Payton thinks that Shockey would be perfect in his offense and desperately wants to add him. Shockey has already told the Giants about his unhappiness in New York and we think he’d love New Orleans because there are a ton of bars.

The Times-Picayune says don’t be surprised to see the deal happen in the coming weeks. We think it would have to include safety Roman Harper, who the Giants previously requested.
