The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Kobe Bryant has won the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award. The newspaper also stated that commissioner David Stern will be in Los Angeles next week to present the trophy to Bryant.
OTR has no problem with Kobe Bryant winning the MVP award. Kobe, Kevin Garnett, and Chris Paul all had amazing seasons and each player is as important to their team than anyone. You can make a case for all three of those players to be named MVP and I wouldn’t have had a problem with any of them winning it.
PHOTO CAPTION: You think Timmy cares who won MVP? He only has one thing on his mind and that’s winning another championship.
However, it’s playoff time and four-time world champion Tim Duncan is awaiting. In my opinion, there isn’t another player that I would want on my team than the Big Fundamental. The regular season is one thing, the playoffs are another. If these three players want their team to be the last one standing, someone is gonna need to take out Timmy. And it looks like Chris Paul will have the first shot. Good Luck Chris, but it’s not happening.
