Headed into the weekend, Dallas, Denver and Golden State were neck and neck and now it can’t be any closer. All three teams have the same record. Denver has won five straight games, including a win over Golden State on Saturday. The Warriors were able to rebound from that loss with a win last night over over Dallas.
Here is what the current standings look like with Golden State as the odd team out.
(7) Dallas 45-28
(8) Denver 45-28
(9) Golden State 45-28
Each team has nine more games before the season ends. Denver has a home-and-home against the Phoenix Suns starting this evening and head to Golden State on April 10th. Golden State is beginning a four-game road trip that starts on Tuesday against the defending champion San Antonio Spurs, followed by a trip to Dallas the next evening. Dallas, losers of five of their last six, play their next three of four on the road with games against the Clippers, the Lakers and the Suns.
