Redskins have no free agent visits planned
By Micah Warren | 1 Comment
Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post reports that the Redskins currently don’t have any free agent visits planned. This is a bit odd, considering that Dan Snyder usually loves to throw tons of dough around to average players.
It was reported recently that bringing in a big-time #1 wide receiver was Snyder’s […]
Vilma is a Saint
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
Not literally. Ok, maybe. Well, he’s on the football team. He could be a really good guy too. Either way, the Saints sent a conditional draft pick to the N.Y. Jets for linebacker Jonathan Vilma.
The draft pick would have to be able to escalate pretty high, in our opinion. […]

According to Boston.com, the Eagles and Asante Samuel are close to finalizing a six-year, $60 million deal that could be reached with incentives. Earlier today, the team scheduled a 4:30pm press conference for Samuel.
The only thing holding this one back is if Samuel pulls a LeCharles Bentley and backs out at the zero hour.
PFT Report confirms our report

We reported on GCobb.com and Blast magazine about two weeks ago that the Eagles were going hard after Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald. Well, today Profootballtalk.com confirms our report. According to ESPN.com, the Jets are expected to send a third- and a fifth-round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for former stud defensive tackle Kris Jenkins. Jenkins used to be a hell of a player, but simply hasn’t been the same the last couple of years.

Isaac Bruce has been released by the Rams on the eve of free agency.
Bruce was a phenomenal player for the Rams over the years, but he has been getting old. He’ll catch on somewhere, he can still be productive.

Pacman Jones has permission to seek trade
By Micah Warren | Leave a Comment
Surprise, surprise. The Titans have reportedly given former first-round pick Pacman Jones permission to shop his services.
The bigger questions is: What would you accept for him? Or, what would a team give up for him? He is in constant trouble with the law and currently suspended indefinitely. Just when you […]

Whiskey: The Best

Before you say anything, whiskey drinking is a sport. I like to say whiskeys. I like the plural version best. I do love all whiskeys, but one stands out as my favorite. Which one you ask? The official whiskey of the Kentucky Derby, Early Times Whiskey. Oh man, it’s so good.
It’s also the official whiskeys […]
Arizona Cardinals And Larry Fitzgerald: Not Close.
By Perry | Leave a Comment
It seems the Cardinals are going to enter free agency an absolute mess. Reports from Arizona indicate that the Cardinals and Larry Fitzgerald are not at all close in restructuring Fitzgerald’s contract. Eugene Parker, Fitzgerald’s agent, is looking to get his client a four year contract, but the Cardinals want him to sign a six […]

I warned you. This is on another level of embarrassing. Dodger fans have probably already seen this and done their best to either convince themselves that it was all a bad dream, or tried to forget that it exists altogether. Orel Hersheiser dancing on the bench in the beginning is absolutely shameful. […]

Is Lying Under Oath Bad?
By Perry | Leave a Comment
Apparently, Roger Clemens may have lied in front of congress. I’m sure we all thought this steroid thing was over when an overwhelmingly truthful Clemens gave his sworn testimony earlier this month. Surprisingly, it’s not. Congress has asked the Justice Department to research and determine if Needle Ass lied under oath.

Sean Salisbury will not be calling John Clayton the ‘crypt keeper’ as an ESPN employee anymore. In what has been long overdue, ESPN has dumped Salisbury like the turd he is. He also ran a 4.27 on the first run, though it was unofficial. McFadden is a possible number one overall pick, and he didn’t hurt his chances with this time. 4.33 is fast for a wide receiver. 4.33 is game-breaking speed. Numbers like these may benefit the Miami Dolphins the most […]
