Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post says that sources have reported that landing a high-end number one receiver is priority number one to owner Dan Snyder and General Manager Vinny Cerrato. He also says that he keeps being told that there is no way that current wide receiver Brandon Lloyd will ever see his upcoming roster bonus. Contrary to no one, Lloyd is not a true number one receiver.
Not surprised. Lloyd has been a colossal waste of time in Washington. I’ve always said that he has some of the best hands I’ve ever seen. Too bad there is more to playing the position. Maybe he doesn’t get on the field because if he somehow scores he’ll start rapping into the football again and draw a 15-yard penalty.
